After over a decade working in the television industry in Manhattan, Anthony Barton relocated to Nashville where, for the first time in his adult life, he experienced the joys of home ownership. Trading in a West Village apartment for a charming home of his own in bucolic Leiper’s Fork, Anthony found an undiscovered passion for the inner workings of the real estate world.
Fueled by his love of having a home of his own—and his fascination about the real estate market and buying and selling homes—Anthony soon discovered venerable Nashville architect Robert Anderson, and counts himself fortunate to have owned and lived in two of Anderson’s extraordinary creations. The experience of carefully and thoughtfully maintaining and restoring these unusual modern treehouses, nestled lovingly within the landscape and brimming with spectacular views and natural light, not only underscored Anthony’s love of all facets of home ownership, but afforded him first-hand knowledge of how to care for unique, special homes.
After a storied twenty-five year career as an accomplished television executive, Anthony decided to make his passion for homes more than a hobby and embarked on a career in real estate. Trading closing credits for closing costs, and swapping shows for showings, Anthony Barton affiliated with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services/Woodmont Realty.

Anthony Barton is a Charleston, South Carolina native and a graduate of Vanderbilt University. Believing that the concept of home extends far beyond four walls, Anthony is an active member of the community who currently serves on the Board of Directors for Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee, a free cancer support community. He also volunteers his time by serving on Metro Nashville’s Special CATV Committee.
