    Each year Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Woodmont Realty hosts a “Kick Off” banquet & brunch to recap on the many successes of the year’s past and discuss the goals & agenda set for the new year in middle Tennessee real estate. It’s a collaborative effort between the owners, brokers, and support team at Woodmont Realty to pull off this annual event to honor our top producers within the firm. Our brokers look back at the sales of each affiliated sales professional, takes a look at the overall performances and mark the achievement goals that are guided by our local level competition and our brand network competition.

    The team at Woodmont Realty wanted to make the event extra special this year for the agents considering the tremendous growth and success the firm had in 2016. “Let’s roll out the red carpet for these agents…”, stated Ginger Holmes, owner & president. With the themed idea in place, the creative minds of Woodmont Realty went into action. After weeks of planning, the show was ready to roll.
    We had the well-loved comedic duo & real estate team, Tonya Tucker & Tisa Musgrove welcoming the agents to the event. The TNT team was dressed to impress with red carpet gowns and friendly conversation with agents and affiliated partners as they walked into the banquet room. The owners and managing brokers greeted everyone as agents mingled with fellow colleagues catching up on life’s events on a personal & professional level. “We really are just a big family,” states Musgrove, owner at Woodmont Realty.

    The show begun with opening remarks from Ginger Holmes welcoming agents and affiliated partners to the event. Tonya Hamilton, VP of Relocation & owning partner, followed up with the BHHS global perspective on how much the network has grown worldwide to where agent’s listing are now broadcast to more than 70 websites worldwide viewed by buyers in 37 countries across 5 continents. Hamilton also provided a review on the achievements of the Relocation Department.
    We received quick updates from the marketing department with a quirky pre-recorded video intermission, auction department’s Tommy Anderson spoke on behalf of the growth he’s had in his business, and our charity committee shared a heartfelt video montage of the charities our company & agents had donated to over 2016 & bringing on board the new committee chair, Jamie Shea. 2

    Then we finally moved on to the much anticipated awards portion of the star-studded event. Nancy Malone, managing broker of our Brentwood office and Jamie Shea, co-broker for the Nashville office took the mic and started handing out the prestigious awards to our top producing agents. Our big winner of the year went to top producing sales agent, Suzan Hindman. She was our #1 Sales Agent for 2016, while the Damon Smith Team took top prize for Top Team overall.

    It was a grand show that brought new life & entertainment to the banquet that we hadn’t seen in years past. Music, entertainment, laughter, and well-deserved recognition to all involved…here’s to making 2017 an even bigger success for #TEAMWOODMONT.
