Donelson Real Estate

Neighborhood just 6 miles to the east of downtown Nashville is Donelson. Named in honor of John Donelson, co-founder of Nashville and father-in-law of Andrew Jackson, Nashvillian and 7th President of the United States.

Tourists flock to the Donelson area to visit the widely popular Grand Ole Opry and the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Both are located right next to the Opry Mills mall, home to many retail stores and dining facilities for family entertainment.

Budget friendly hotels are vastly spread in the area making travel convenient for tourists to stay. South side of Donelson is where the Nashville International Airport is located, which gives the neighborhood the distinct honor of being the city’s first impression to visitors.
